New Delhi: Commander of US Indo-Pacific Command Admiral John Aquilino today called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.
The meeting was held days after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the India US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in Washington DC. During his visit to the U.S., the Defence Minister had also visited the HQ of INDOPOCOM in Hawaii where wide-ranging interactions with the Command leadership were held to advance India-US defence collaboration across all domains.
Both sides have reaffirmed their commitment to working together for a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific and beyond.
The INDOPACOM Commander who is on a visit to India also participated in the ongoing Raisina Dialogue organised by the Ministry of External Affairs.
The USINDOPACOM and Indian military have wide-ranging engagements, including a number of military exercises, training events and exchanges.
