Japan Defence Chief calls on Army Chief to bolster military ties

New Delhi: The Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Japan Self Defense Forces General Yamazaki Koji today met Army Chief MM Naravane in New Delhi.

Both sides discussed the ways to further strengthen the military ties between the two nations.

The Army said in a tweet, "General Yamazaki Koji, Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Japan Self Defense Forces #JSDF called on General MM Naravane #COAS and discussed issues of mutual interest between the two Nations."

Earlier the Chief of Staff, Joint Staff of Japan Self-Defence Forces laid a wreath and paid homage to the fallen heroes at the National War Memorial, New Delhi.
