Indian Navy announces recruitment dates under Agnipath Scheme

New Delhi: Indian Navy has announced the notification date and online application dates for the recruitment under the Agnipath scheme under 'SSR' and 'MR'Recruit. As per the Indian Navy Calendar, the Indian Navy Agniveer registration process will start on 01 July 2022 on www.joinindiannavy.gov.in However, the online application link will be available from 15 July to 30 July 2022.

Successful applicants will be called for Written and PGT will be conducted Mid October 2022. The training will start on 21 November 2022 at INS Chilka.

In order to make Agnipath scheme more condusive for youth willing to join Indian Navy, a memorandum of understanding, MoU has also been signed this week between the Navy and the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, specifically the Directorate General, DG of Shipping. This MoU would allow Agniveers and other officers, sailors and candidates from the Indian Navy to serve and join the Merchant Navy as soon as their period of training ends.

Agnipath Recruitment 2022 has also been disclosed for the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. The Scheme was launched by the Central Government, Ministry of Defence on June 14, 2022 in order to engage the youth in the defence and armed forces of the country.
