New Delhi: A team of Indian Air Force (IAF) has reached Egypt to participate in a bilateral Tactical Leadership Programme with the Egyptian Air Force. The Su-30 MkI aircraft of IAF is taking part in the exercise to understand and assimilate the best practices.
The IAF in a tweet said, "A team of #IAF Air Warriors landed in Egypt on 22 Jun 2022 to participate in a bilateral Tactical Leadership Programme with Egyptian Air Force. Participating with the Su-30 MkI aircraft, the aim of the exercise is to understand and assimilate the best practices."
India and Egypt share strong military ties. Last year in October, both the Air Forces conducted a two-day exercise Desert Warrior at the latter's El Berigat airbase to enhance mutual understanding and share the operational experience.
Other major areas of defence cooperation between India & Egypt include attendance of training courses by officers of both countries in each other's military training institutes, regular visits of military delegations from both sides for joint training and exchange of professional know-how, exchange of visits of senior officers of both armed forces.
