India-Russia hold talks on Military & Military Technical Cooperation in New Delhi.

New Delhi: The 3rd Meeting of the Working Sub Group on Planning of Military Cooperation of the Indian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Military Technical Cooperation (IRIGC-M&MTC) was held from 23-24 Jul 2024 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.

The Working Sub Group Meeting is a forum established to progress defence cooperation between the countries through regular talks at the operational level between Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff and Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of Ministry of Defence, Russian Federation. The meeting was conducted in a friendly, warm and cordial atmosphere.

The discussions focused on strengthening the ongoing defence engagements between the two sides and mulled on new initiatives under the ambit of existing bilateral defence cooperation mechanism.
