HSL bags two awards at QCC

New Delhi: Hindustan Shipyard Limited received two prestigious awards by excelling at the National Level Quality Circles Competition (QCC), organized by SODET with the theme 'Lead With Quality’.

The event took place at BEML, Mysore on 21-22 November 2024. The HSL Spark Team won the Gold Award for an innovative solution to mitigate welding distortions in shipbuilding, achieving a 52% reduction in deck-level distortions and a 51% improvement in efficiency.

The HSL Achievers Team also secured the Silver Award for innovatively installing the Active Heave Compensation (AHC) system, ensuring perfect alignment and avoiding multiple reworks.
