Bharat Dynamics Limited celebrates 53rd Formation Day

New Delhi: Defence PSU Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) celebrated its 53rd Formation Day on July 16 2022 at its various units and offices. CMD BDL Cmde Siddharth Mishra (Retd) while greeting the employees of the Company thanked all the stakeholders for their cooperation and support extended over the years. In his address, CMD, BDL briefly narrated the accomplishments made by the Company during the last year.

The CMD stated that BDL has a very good order book from the Armed Forces. He urged the employees to continue to work hard with diligence to execute the orders by meeting the committed delivery schedule. The 'ease of doing business' initiative of the Government has given BDL a plethora of opportunities for the Company to export its products to friendly foreign countries, he added.

Taking into cognisance the modern-age warfare, CMD, BDL stated that the Company aims to leverage emerging technologies to develop futuristic weapons for the services. In order to do this, BDL would be laying emphasis on automation of its manufacturing facilities, indigenization of critical items and equipping its human resources with advanced skills to tap the emerging technologies more effectively for developing indigenously designed and manufactured advanced weapons for the armed forces.

Cmde Mishra that BDL stands committed to serving the armed forces by strengthening it with futuristic weapons to safeguard the boundaries of the Nation.
