New Delhi: A combined Passing out Parade (POP) was held today at Air Force Station, Jalahalli, in which more than 1300 trainees and six International students successfully completed their trade phase of Training.

As per the Air Force Officials, the training programme was aimed to equip the trainees for future warfare, through e-learning and practical training.

The Passing out Parade was reviewed by Air Vice Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Commandant, Aircraft & Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE) and witnessed by personnel from Air Force Station Jalahalli and HQ Training Command, IAF. On arrival, the Reviewing Officer was received by Air Commodore Nand Kumar Nair, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jalahalli.

The Air Marshal congratulated all passing out trainees and felicitated the promising ones who had performed exceedingly well in different fields. The trophies for Best in Trade were presented to Leading Aircraftsman Ravi Singh for Electronics Fitter Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Subham Raj for Elect Fit (R) Aviation Trade and Leading Aircraftsman DivyaVardhan Singh for Elect Fit (R) Ground Trade. Leading Aircraftsman Sandeep Sharma Electronics Fitter secured the Best All Rounder Trophy.

Addressing the newly inducted air warriors, the Reviewing Officer emphasised that the country has reposed enormous trust in each one of them to guard the Nation's Air Frontier and reiterated the need to utilize this training in pursuance of excellence in their respective fields to achieve professional goals.

The Reviewing Officer and all dignitaries lauded the tremendous efforts put up by the instructional staff and all those connected with the training, both directly and indirectly at the Training Institutes and Air Force Station, Jalahalli.
