New Delhi: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), has paid a final dividend of Rs 13.733 Crore for the Financial year 2021 – 22 to the Government of India. BDL CMD Siddharth Mishra presented a cheque for Rs 13.733 Crore, being the final dividend pertaining to the Government of India shareholding in BDL, to Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon'ble Raksha Mantri at New Delhi today.

BDL has declared a final dividend of Re 1.00 per equity share of Rs 10 /- each for the financial year 2021 – 22. The final dividend declared by the Company works out to 10 % of the paid-up share capital of Rs 183.28 Crore.

Earlier, during March this year, an interim dividend of Rs 7.30 per share amounting to Rs 100.248 Crore was paid by BDL to the Government of India for the financial year 2021 – 22 towards the Government of India's shareholding in BDL. With this, the total dividend paid by BDL to the Government of India for the financial year 2021 – 22 amounts to Rs 113.981 Crore.

Siddhartha Singh Longjam, Additional Secretary (Defence Production) & Financial Advisor Acquisition, Anurag Bajpai, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, and N Srinivasulu, Director (Finance), BDL were present on the occasion.
