New Delhi: The Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane today met the Chief of Australian Defence Force General Angus Campbell in New Delhi.

Both sides discussed the ways of further strengthening the bilateral military ties.

The Army said in a tweet, "General Angus Campbell, Chief of Defence Force, #Australia called on General MM Naravane #COAS and discussed ways to strengthen the Defence Cooperation between the two countries."

During the ongoing visit to India, Gen Campbell, along with Secretary of Department of Defence, Australia Greg Moriarty also met CISC Air Marshal BR Krishna, DGDIA Lt Gen GAV Reddy, and Deputy Chief (Ops) Vice Admiral to discuss bilateral defence and strategic issues.
