Anil Jerath set to be next Director (Finance) of BEML Ltd

• PESB shortlists Anil Jerath for the Director (Finance) post of BEML Limited
• Jerath is currently working as Chief General Manager (Finance) in the BEML only

New Delhi: Anil Jerath is set to be the next Director (Finance) of BEML Limited, a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. He is currently serving as Chief General Manager (Finance) in the same Defence PSU. Currently, BEML's Director (Defence Business) Ajit Kumar Srivastav is holding the additional charge of Director (Finance) post.

Jerath has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of BEML from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in their selection meeting held on December 21. There were a total of two candidates including Jerath, who were from BEML and one each from ONGC Petro additions Limited, Pashchim Gujarat Vij. Co. Ltd. (PGVCL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

As Director (Finance) of BEML, Anil Jerath will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts functions of the organisation and also will be responsible for evolving and formulating finance policies.
