Visakhapatnam: The leading defence public sector company Hindustan Shipyard Limited or HSL observed World Environment Day, 2023 on June 5, 2023.
On the occasion of the Environment Day, HSL planted 50 saplings at HSL Colony.
It also organised a three day workshop at IIM(V) for senior executives to promote clean, healthy and sustainable environment on World Environment Day during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Earlier, as a part of World Environment Day, HSL organised a Bicycle Rally from the HSL Main Gate to the HSL Colony gate to promote Mission Life Programme (Life for Environment). The employees including contract workers, colony residents and school children participated.
The leading shipyard company also actively participated in Beach Cleaning drive today organised by APPCB as part of Environment protection and Energy conservation week.
